EconomicDEVELOPMENT

Economic development as it relates to our work is focused on three key areas:

Firstly, economic development broadly, which aims to improve the well-being and quality of life of people. It involves a range of activities and policies that promote economic growth, create jobs, and increase the standard of living for residents.

Secondly, urban economics focuses on understanding the factors that drive urban growth and development, and the development of policies and strategies that can help cities to thrive economically. This can involve identifying opportunities for economic growth and investment, as well as addressing the challenges and inequalities that can arise within urban areas.

Finally, work in this sector involves local economic development which aims to create a strong and vibrant economy that benefits everyone in the community. This can help to reduce poverty, improve social and environmental conditions, and promote sustainable development.
